Hong Kong gets its second spot Solana ETF on Tuesday, and Pando's 0.6% fee undercuts the first
Hong Kong investors are about to get a second way to own Solana through the stock exchange. Pando Finance's spot Solana ETF is set to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Tuesday, October 13, under the code 02831. Subscriptions ran from October 6 to 12 at an indicative price of HK$7.80 to HK$8.00 a share, with a minimum lot of 100 shares.
The fund competes on price. Its management fee is 0.6% a year, with estimated ongoing charges of 1.6%. ChinaAMC's Solana ETF, code 03460 and the city's first, charges 0.99% with ongoing charges of 1.99%. Pando's fund tracks a CME CF Solana Dollar Index and uses HashKey Exchange as its trading platform and HashKey Custody Services as custodian.
The fund will not stake its SOL to earn network rewards. It is passive and unleveraged, and it does not pay dividends.
The listing gives Pando its third spot crypto ETF in Hong Kong, after funds holding bitcoin and ether. With the time difference, Tuesday's first session in Hong Kong falls on Monday evening in California.
