Up to $1.16 billion taken from TRUMP buyers, CryptoQuant's founder estimates, as the meme coin sits about 97% below its peak
An on-chain analyst has put a number on what the TRUMP meme coin has been worth to its insiders. "The team behind $TRUMP extracted $779M to $1.16B from buyers," Ki Young Ju, founder of the analytics firm CryptoQuant, wrote on X on Saturday morning, according to TokenPost and Finbold.
The range rests on two readings of the same wallets, Finbold explains. The $779.4 million floor is built from stablecoin outflows and transfers of TRUMP to exchanges CryptoQuant has labelled, and Finbold calls it confirmed realised profit. The $1.16 billion ceiling adds transfers to unidentified or external addresses, which may not be completed sales. Finbold says the data covers January 1, 2025 to October 1, 2026; TokenPost notes the post itself did not name the wallets or spell out the calculation.
For buyers the arithmetic is stark. Launched on Solana in January 2025, TRUMP peaked at $73 on January 19 that year and was at $1.80 on Saturday, a fall of about 97.5%, per Finbold. CoinGecko showed $1.71 at 6:55am Pacific on Sunday. Of the 1 billion maximum supply, 80% is held by CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC under a three-year release schedule, TokenPost reports. Neither outlet reported a response from the team.
