Fairshake backs 32 House incumbents, starting with $6 million

The crypto industry's main political committee has named the lawmakers it wants back in Washington. Fairshake endorsed 32 House incumbents, 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats, Cointelegraph reported October 5. Every one of them voted for the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in 2025.
The first money is already assigned. Six members get $1 million each: Democrats Janelle Bynum, Derek Tran and Steven Horsford, and Republicans French Hill, Bill Huizenga and Bryan Steil.
The list is a message as much as a budget. Three weeks after the Senate declined to advance the bill, the industry is rewarding the House members who backed it, and doing so in both parties. The even split among the first six is hard to miss. Spending on Democrats and Republicans alike keeps crypto legislation from becoming one party's issue, which matters for a bill that needs 60 votes in the Senate.
Fairshake has the resources to keep going. The committee reported $122 million in cash in August and expects to spend more than $100 million on 2026 races.
The open question is the Senate. The endorsements show how the committee treats its friends. How it treats senators who voted against advancing the bill will become clear as the November midterms approach.
