Is there a crypto tax in Oman for individuals?

Not yet. PwC's tax summary says Oman's personal income tax is effective from January 1, 2028, so it is not in force today. Until then, an individual's salary, savings and investment gains, including any crypto gains, are not taxed by Oman. No separate crypto tax exists.

PwC's summary of the published law lists the taxable income categories. They include salaries, self-employment, rent, interest, returns from stocks, shares and bonds, and gains from disposing of stocks, shares, bonds and real estate.
