How do you cash out crypto from Trust Wallet?
To cash out crypto on Trust Wallet, use its Sell option to reach a partner such as MoonPay, or send the coins to an exchange, sell there and withdraw to a bank.
To cash out crypto from Trust Wallet, you either use the app's Sell option, which hands the sale to a third-party provider that pays you in local currency, or you send the coins to an exchange that supports them and sell there. Trust Wallet is a self-custody wallet, as explained in what is Trust Wallet, so it has no cash balance or bank link of its own. The details below are from Trust Wallet and MoonPay support pages as of October 2026.
Can you sell crypto on Trust Wallet?
Yes, for many coins. Trust Wallet's July 2026 support article says the Sell option sits under Buy on the app's home screen. You pick the asset, choose the local currency you want and select an available provider. Examples it names are MoonPay, Banxa and Alchemy Pay. The extension works the same way from the asset's page.
Which providers appear depends on your location, currency and the amount. Trust Wallet says its partners cover more than 100 national currencies, but it does not list countries.
How do you withdraw from Trust Wallet to a bank account?
After you pick a provider, you are taken to its page to sign up and confirm. MoonPay, for example, asks new customers to verify their identity, and in the UK and EU it pays only to verified bank accounts. Bank details go in local format, such as a routing number for US dollars or an IBAN for euros.
MoonPay says it does not pull crypto from an outside wallet on its own. Each sell order gives a unique deposit address, and the wallet then sends the coins there. MoonPay lists typical payout times of 3 to 5 working days to a US bank, 1 to 3 to a European bank and within 1 working day to a UK bank. A deposit must arrive within seven days or the order closes, and sending less than the minimum or using the wrong network can mean lost funds.
What fees and checks apply when you sell?
Trust Wallet says it does not charge a fee on the sale. The provider sets its own fee in real time, depending on payment method and location, and the blockchain network fee also applies to the send. The network fees are paid in the chain's own coin, so a wallet needs some of it.
What if the Trust Wallet sell option is missing or fails?
Trust Wallet gives several reasons a sale may not work:
- The provider does not operate in your country or region.
- That coin cannot be sold directly and has to be converted first.
- Local rules limit selling or withdrawing.
In those cases you can send the coins to a centralized exchange that supports the same network, sell, and withdraw, as described in how to sell crypto for cash. Trust Wallet also tells users to be wary of anyone who says a wallet must be "activated" before it can sell. Related tricks are covered in common crypto scams.
