What is Axiom crypto and how does it work?
Axiom crypto is a web trading platform for Solana tokens and Hyperliquid perpetuals, built for fast memecoin trading, with fees of 0.75% to 0.95% per trade.
Axiom crypto refers to Axiom, a web trading platform built mostly for fast trading of new Solana tokens, including memecoins. It is often searched as Axiom Pro or Axiom Trade. It combines one-click buying and selling, token discovery and wallet tracking in one screen, and it adds leveraged perpetual futures through Hyperliquid.
What is Axiom Pro?
Axiom was founded by Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis, two UC San Diego graduates, and went through Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch. Early access opened in late January 2025 and a wider launch followed in mid-February, The Block reported. By May 2025 it had collected $100 million in lifetime fees. Blockworks noted that, unlike many rivals that run as Telegram bots, Axiom is a web app.
Its FAQ calls it a hybrid trading app and wallet that is non-custodial, with assets held onchain under the user's control and Turnkey as its wallet infrastructure partner. As of October 2026 the FAQ lists Solana as the only spot chain supported, with more planned.
What does Axiom crypto do?
The docs list spot buys, quick sells, limit orders, migration tools, Twitter monitoring and wallet tracking. A feature called Pulse shows tokens from launchpads such as Pump.fun in three columns: new pairs, tokens close to finishing their bonding curve, and tokens that have already migrated to Raydium.
The Perpetuals tab lets users go long or short with leverage, entering amounts in USDC, on Hyperliquid. Leverage can magnify both gains and losses.
Fees depend on trading volume. The fee page lists seven tiers, from 0.95% per trade at the base Wood tier to 0.75% at Champion, with cashback paid in SOL. Solana network fees come on top.
What does slippage mean on Axiom?
Axiom's docs define slippage as the percentage the price can move while your transaction is waiting to confirm. If the price moves more than that, the trade fails instead of filling at a worse price. New tokens can swing sharply in seconds, so a low setting may fail often and a high one may fill at a much worse price. The general idea is explained in what is slippage in crypto.
Two other settings sit next to it. A priority fee is an optional extra payment that makes a transaction more likely to confirm quickly. MEV protection is an added fee meant to stop bots from buying just ahead of you and selling right after, a tactic covered in what is MEV. The docs say this fee must be set above the current minimum bribe shown in the app and is usually only needed for buys.
What are the risks of using Axiom?
Most tokens traded through tools like Pulse are brand new, thinly traded and highly volatile, so prices can collapse within minutes. Fees of close to 1% per trade add up for frequent traders. Non-custodial wallets mean no one can reverse a mistaken trade, and Blockworks noted that the business depends heavily on memecoin and perpetuals activity, which can fade.
