Can you send crypto to Skrill?

Not directly. You cannot send crypto to Skrill from an outside wallet, but in eligible countries Skrill lets you buy, sell and withdraw crypto to a wallet.

You cannot send crypto to Skrill from another wallet or exchange. As of October 2026, Skrill's help centre lists crypto deposits from external wallets as a feature it does not yet offer. Skrill does run a crypto service in some countries, but coins flow out of it, not in.

Does Skrill have crypto?

Yes, for residents of eligible countries. Skrill, part of the Paysafe group, says it partners with crypto exchanges to run its Cryptocurrency Service rather than operating an exchange itself. Users buy coins with their main Skrill balance, from around €1, and can sell them back to regular money in the app. Skrill cites over 40 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, ether, litecoin, Cardano, Solana and Dogecoin, and says the pairs on offer vary by country.

Skrill does not list eligible countries on these pages. Its crypto pages carry a notice that the service is not available in the US and point US visitors to a separate site. For UK users, Skrill states that the service is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Can you deposit bitcoin into Skrill?

Not as bitcoin. Skrill's help page names two things it does not yet offer: depositing crypto from external wallets and paying online with a crypto balance.

It does describe one workaround. Through BitPay, you can pay from an external crypto wallet to add regular money, not coins, to your Skrill balance. The coins are converted along the way, so what lands in Skrill is fiat. Before trying any transfer, it is worth reading how to send and receive crypto for the basics of addresses and networks.

How does a Skrill crypto withdrawal work?

Skrill offers two routes out. The first is to sell crypto for a regular currency and withdraw that money to a bank account, a route covered more generally in how to sell crypto for cash. The second is a crypto withdrawal. You choose Withdraw, then Crypto Wallet, pick the coin and the amount, and Skrill converts your balance if needed and sends the crypto to an address you provide. Skrill says sending to external addresses is available only in selected countries.

Skrill's help page also mentions Skrill Crypto On-Ramp, which lets users pay in regular money through Skrill and receive crypto straight to their own wallet.

What fees does Skrill charge on crypto?

Skrill says crypto fees are charged at the time of each transaction. Its general fees page does not list a fixed buy or sell percentage. It does say crypto trades are priced in euros or US dollars, so an account held in another currency pays a 1.5% foreign exchange fee on crypto transactions. Network costs for sending coins depend on the blockchain, as explained in what are crypto fees.
